Relaxing on the Leijen estate
In the middle of the countryside in picturesque Hensbroek in North Holland lies Landgoed de Leijen. A small-scale holiday resort with four luxury safari tents for up to four people and accommodation for groups of up to 14 people.
On the estate you will find two playgrounds, a fire pit, bocce court, table tennis table, farmer's golf and a large pond. Just two minutes' walk away is a large lake, ideal for swimming or taking a leisurely stroll around.

Enjoying together with family or friends? Our spacious group accommodation is fully equipped for that.
The open kitchen with large dining table invites for long, cosy dinners. Adjacent is a cosy conservatory, and on the other side of the house is the terrace with a large barbecue. Ultimate relaxation? Make use of the Finnish sauna and hot tub.
Luxury safari tents
Experience peace and quiet in one of our four comfortable safari tents. Nestled among the trees, you will wake up in the morning to the sound of birds singing.
The tents are widely spaced apart and overlook a large (playing) field with a natural pond. Each accommodation has its own terrace, where you can relax and enjoy the surroundings. If it is a bit chilly, warm up inside with the wood pellet stove.

Discover the estate and its surroundings
You will enjoy peace and quiet on our estate, but if you want, you certainly won't be bored. Play a game of jeu de boules, table tennis or farmer's golf, light up the barbecue or take a nice walk in the recreational area right behind our property.
There is also plenty to do in the surrounding area. Within a 20-minute drive you are in the characteristic North Holland cities of Alkmaar or Hoorn. Between these cities is the Eilandspolder: a beautiful nature reserve where you can rent a whisper boat, for example. Or choose a sporty mountain bike ride or forest walk in beautiful Schoorl.
