About us
We are Peter and Tamara and live with our children Abby and Syb on Landgoed de Leijen. It was always our dream to start our own holiday home, and we have made that dream a reality here. Besides our regular jobs, we lovingly look after the estate. What once started with just a group accommodation has now grown into a small-scale holiday spot with four atmospheric safari tents. And all in the village where Peter spent his childhood.

Holiday at Landgoed de Leijen
At Landgoed de Leijen you will enjoy peace, nature and plenty of space. Choose to stay in our comfortable group accommodation for 14 people or experience a special holiday in one of our four luxury safari tents.
Our estate is completely energy-neutral: we generate our own electricity and heat with solar panels and solar collectors. You will find us at Gemaalweg 6 in Hensbroek, near Alkmaar and Hoorn in North Holland.
Welcome to Landgoed de Leijen. In picturesque Hensbroek in North Holland, you will find peace and quiet in the countryside. We are Peter and Tamara and together with our young family, you will enjoy plenty of space and nature here.
